1952 Lincoln

The Capri became a separate series for Lincoln in 1952. Styling was tasteful and subdued, especially in comparison to contemporary Cadillacs. Like most cars of the era, the Capri was fairly heavy, weighing 4,635 pounds. The Capri was Lincoln's top of the line model.

The 1952 Lincolns were technologically innovative, introducing the first ball-joint front suspension of any automobile and using Ford's first new engine design in 30 years, a V-8 with overhead valves.
