1947 Lincoln Continental Coupe

Exterior Color: BLACK
Interior color: RED
Cylinders V12
Transmission MANUAL

The Lincoln Continental was designed by Bob Gregorie as a one-off for Edsel Ford to use on vacation in Florida. It was received with such enthusiasm by Ford's friends on the Social Register that it was rushed into production and became one of Ford's longest-running successes. This Ermine Black 1947 coupe was lovingly restored with a striking leather interior in Dubonnet Red that emphasizes the style and elegance of the original Continental's design. Power comes from Lincoln's Flathead V12 engine whose 305 cubic inches deliver 150 brake horsepower. The Continental's elegance and refined design has built a loyal following and earned the recognition of the Classic Car Club of America as one of the very few post-World War II automobiles recognized as a "Full Classic". The style, colors, materials and presentation of this example burnishes the Continental's reputation for quality and style.
