Things To Do: Gas Gauge needs sending unit, Turn signals need flasher, Dash Lights, Front End Alignment, Gas Tank Neck needs Patch/Leaks at top, Continental Kit needs spring to hold front plate in place, Some rust underneath/ will need patching and undercoat, One valve lifter taps needs Rislone or adjustment, Electric windows fragile, Transmission has a slow leak when sitting for long periods of time(seals). There was air conditioning in the car, I have no idea if it is hooked up or even works. This was the first year for air in these cars. Also it rivaled Cadillac for most luxurious in 1956, and won. It had the most new unique options. The motor is a 368 V8, the transmission is a Hydromatic 3 speed automatic. And yes the brakes are drum. As for other things that need to be done: it also needs a headliner, paint repair on the dash, and the leather on the dash needs to be re-glued down. As well as other misc. things that any car collector would expect to need to be addressed.
